No excuses, it's been awhile.

It has been a long time since I've updated this blog and a lot has happened. I have a new job so we've moved farther south. We are renting a house while we build another one. I spent two months training in Boise, Idaho. That was difficult to only be home on the weekends, but we made it. Now it looks like I'll soon be heading to Germany for another week of training. I'm looking forward to that trip.

Trevor has started kindergarden and LOVES it. He is so excited to be going to a real school now. Logan has had an uneventful summer. We are really hoping that he will stay strong and healthy this winter. He is starting to walk, but isn't real confident yet. He'll sometimes take a step or two without holding onto anything, but is usually real hesitant. Kayson turned 1 today. He had a fun birthday party with his brothers and parents today. Even if Logan unwrapped one of his presents when no one was looking.

I'll post pictures of his party once I download them from the camera. Meanwhile, Amy has posted some pictures of our family on her blog. She took them for us last weekend. Thanks again Amy!

Graduation

Well, it really happened. Finally!!! Chad graduated from school with 2 BS degrees in chemistry and criminal justice. It also looks like he has a great new job that he'll be starting in a couple of weeks. Call or email for all the details.

Swinging

Logan is getting stronger now and loves to help out. Pushing Kayson in the swing helps him get strong in his legs and Kayson loves the attention and swinging.

Hard Work

After a snowstorm a couple of weeks ago, Trevor helped shovel the snow. When we were done he wanted to build a snow cave and sleep in it.

Logan is Back in the Hospital

This is just a quick post to let you know that Logan is back in the hospital. He has RSV and overall is not feeling very good. Friday his respiration rate was high and he wasn't oxygenating his blood very well, even with a high rate of supplemental oxygen so we took him to his doctor who then sent him up to the emergency room. Because he normally has difficulty breathing, they admitted him to the ICU. Yesterday he seemed to be doing fairly well, but overnight he worsened. Today they started adding helium to his oxygen to make it easier to breathe. This evening when I left he was doing better again. We hope that he will continue improving and have a good night tonight. Because he is in the ICU our cell phone is off, but if you leave a message we will call back, or you can call the hospital and ask for Logan's bed.
